Baby Cara and Big Sister Abby | Greenville SC Newborn Photographer

This is our very first photo session of 2012!!!  What a perfect way to start too…..a sweet 8 week old baby girl and her big sister and beautiful mommy!  It was so nice meeting this sweet family! About a week before the session I asked the mom to tell me a little bit about her girls and this is what she wrote.

“Abby  turned four last September. She loves to socialize, but is initially cautious. Once she warms up, there is no stopping her! Very independant personality, and loves to draw and paint, loves books, and loves Dora the Explorer. Cara turned seven weeks old today.  She is such a sweet baby who is sleeping through the night and loves to be held. She has beautiful long eyelashes that I hope you can capture in at least one image.”

Oh, and thankfully we did capture those beautiful lashes!!   I so enjoyed this session.  These girls were truly a pleasure to be around.  Cara did an amazing job in her first photo session and slept right through most of it! =)  Thanks for allowing me to capture this sweet time in your lives. =)

Cameron + Lindsey | Greenville SC Wedding Photographer

Recently I was excited and honored to photograph another one of my high school senior’s weddings! We have known Cameron and his family for over 5 years  and are thankful they are a part of our church!  I have enjoyed getting to know his beautiful bride Lindsey and look forward to getting to know her even better. It was also an honor to co-shoot this weeding with my dear friend and amazing photographer Erin Drago of Erin Drago Photography! We always have so much fun together and this wedding was no exception. Below is a compilation of both of our images all in one BIG post. We each decided to pick out our personal favorites from the day and then separately post them. I can’t wait to check out Erin’s favorites on her blog!

Erin and I  agree that this first look was one of our favorites ever!!! As the bride was getting ready, we acted it out in front of her to see her reaction. Well, she cried, you know happy tears, and we knew this was perfect for them!!!  I could go on and on about the advantages of a first look, but that is for another post.  As Cameron and Lindsey held hands before seeing each other you could just feel the anticipation building!!! And I believe the images below show this anticipation quite well!!! =) It was so much fun to witness and capture! They were so excited about getting married.

As you can see below the wedding party was a blast to photograph as well. =) The entire wedding day was a true celebration of our Father’s love for us and His sovereign care!! It was a perfect day!!! Thank you Cameron and Lindsey for entrusting us to document your wedding day!! We love you both!

Our Annual Christmas Couch Picture 2011

Oh, how I love these pictures, these little ones, and our church family!!!  In 2009 5 of our ladies in our caregroup were pregnant together.  At Christmas time we decided to take a picture of all 5 of them. It has now become an annual event!!!  We are so thankful that we are still together and that we have been blessed with each of these children. =)

Lindsay | Spartanburg Senior Photography

What an amazing season of seniors we had this fall!!!  Lindsay ‘s session was no exception!  I enjoyed hanging out with her.  She is super easy going and a lot of fun to be around.  While editing her pictures I was reminded of how seasons change!  I am sure Lindsay’s parents would agree that this season comes all too quickly.  I so can relate because I now have a senior too!!!  Such a fun, exciting time in their lives.  I hope you have a wonderful senior year Lindsay!!!

Baby Evie and Big Sister Peyton | Greenville SC Newborn Photographer

Cortney contacted me to take pictures of her 1 year old daughter Peyton well over a year ago!!!  Abbi and I had so much fun with Peyton, so when Cortney emailed a few months back asking us to capture her newest addition Evie….we could not wait until their session!!!  We had so much fun! As you can see below Peyton is fun, spunky little girl…love all of her facial expressions!!  Evie arrived at her first photo session asleep and stayed asleep for all the big sister shots.  Such a good little girl!  She did decide to wake up for her personal photo session, but then decided to go back to sleep! =)  Thanks Cortney and Bryan for trusting me to take pictures of these special times for you!!!  It was great seeing all of you!!!! =)  What blessings you have been given!!!

Baby Noble | Greenville SC Newborn Photographer

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalms 139:13-14

  I was pretty excited when Noble’s mommy Marie  contacted me to take some pictures of her 1st baby boy after having 3 precious girls! =)  During the photo session when Noble started crying his mommy  would whisper into his ear and this instantly soothed him and even put him to sleep!    There is nothing like a mommy’s voice or touch! =)  I enjoyed our time!

We are 2 days away from Thanksgiving !  This week has been a great reminder to me of what gifts we have been given through our children, but what an even greater gift we have been giving through our Father God.  He sent his own son to die on the cross for us and was risen 3 days later.

” Thanks be to God for his inexpressible gift!” 2 Cor. 9:15

Baby Zane | The Lacock Family | Greer SC Family Photographer

We LOVE this family!!!  A little over a year ago we took pictures of them and now they have been blessed with a new baby!  Meet baby Zane!  Such a cutie.  The day of their photo session a cold front came through and it was a blustery kind of day and a little on the chilly side.  I was not sure how things would work out, but this family did not disappoint.  The kids enjoyed running and playing, and the wind made for some beautiful pictures as well.    While I took some basket shots of Zane outside, Dad ran and explored with the kids.  I was able to capture a few of this too. We decided to do some inside shots of Zane as well.  So thankful we did.  I so enjoyed holding him. =)

Last night our care group ladies just celebrated the faithfulness of our Father in bringing Zane into this world.  I was freshly encouraged as a mommy!  Becca loves Jesus.  It shows through the way she loves her husband, children, friends, and church.  I am so very thankful for her and her family.  Enjoy a little taste of the personalities of each of their children. =)

Tori’s Senior Pictures | Class of 2012 | Greer SC Senior Photographer

Tori is a senior this year!  She loves the color orange, fall, and horses!  This was the perfect session for her! =) We had a lot of fun!  Tori is very photogenic and new exactly what she wanted for her pictures.  Another easy senior!   My Abbi also loves horses and was pretty excited about this senior session! =)  I still cannot get over what a gorgeous fall it has been in Greenville SC!!!  The leaves are still in full color and hanging on!!!!

Kristi | Class of 2012 | Anderson SC Senior Photographer

Kristi just moved to the Greenville SC area and is loving downtown Greenville and Falls Park.   Once you have lived in Greenville for a length of time you forget how unique this area is, especially in comparison to other downtown areas =)  This session freshly reminded me of how awesome Falls Park is!!! The colors this fall  are absolutely gorgeous!   Fall is my favorite time of year and it is Kristi’s too!  So thankful the leaves hung around long enough for her session!!!  Her is a little bit about Kristi!

“My favorite color is yellow and I’m a big time artist. I plan on going to college for some sort of studio degree and it’s a big passion. I love being outside and just enjoying time by myself sometimes. My family’s very important to me including my two sheltie dogs! I’m an independent and “free-spirit” person (my mom’s words) I think for the most part I just look to enjoy life and not worry too much about the technical stuff! I LOVE watermelon, I think I could eat my weight in it, and as far as sports go, I’m recreationally challenged. I also am a huge music fanatic, and look for anything that’s especially not mainstream, they’re the best! I’m very, very excited to meet you, and I’m so glad for your help!!!”

I enjoyed meeting you and your mom and your 2 shelties! =)  I had so much fun laughing with you too!!! =)
