The Galbraith Family | Greenville SC Family Photographer
Abbi and I enjoyed our time with the Galbraith family! It has been a joy getting to know them. I can so relate to the mom! I too once had 3 little boys running around. I am amazed at how fast time really does fly by! Happy Mother’s Day!!! =) Hope you enjoy your family!

The Basinger Family | Greenville SC Family Photographer
I always ask clients to send me a paragraph or 2 that describes their family and to include what they are envisioning for their session. When I asked Nicole, the mom, the following was part of her response along with a list of items she was going to bring for their session.
“As far as photos go….Chris is up for anything. He’s such a good sport.
Charlie and I are girly-girls. We love things vintage…lace, pearls, ruffles, and frills. I love anything rustic, farm-house, and shabby chic style. “
This response got me pretty excited about this session and Nicole made things quite easy!!! I love her creative style. Nicole’s sweet little girl, Charlie, just turned 2! We set up a little tea party for her and daddy. Nicole decided to join in as well. It was such a fun session. Charlie had a blast!!!! We were able to get some pretty sweet shots of mom and dad at the end too.
A special thanks to Micaela & Meghan for helping with this photo session. You guys rock!!! =) Abbi and I had fun hanging out with you!!!

The Buys Family | Greenville SC Family Photographer
A beautiful afternoon and beautiful family! About a month ago while walking with my daughters in our neighborhood we met the Buys family. While talking with the mom, my girls enjoyed playing with their sweet little girl and cute dog. =) A few weeks later they booked a family photo session. It was such a fun little session and their daughter who is a little shy did a wonderful job!!! One of the highlights of this session was when the dad gave his little girl the yellow tulips and then she went and gave them to her mommy along with a BIG hug. =) Abbi and I so enjoyed our time with them.

The Keels Family | Greenville SC Family Photographer
It is hard to believe that less than ten months ago we did this little one’s newborn pictures!!! You can see those here…Newborn Sweetness. What a great reminder to me of how quickly time passes by and to invest this time wisely. Abbi and I totally enjoyed being with the Keel’s family. Their session went beautifully, and these boys did an amazing job!!! The location of these pictures was special to the Keels because it was on their property. It is a gorgeous location and it was a wonderful day for a photo session too. Enjoy! =)

A Little Sunshine for Today | Greenville SC Children’s Photographer
I love my girl. I love the warmth of the sun. I love trying new settings on my camera. =) She loves to dance, twirl, and laugh! And she loves her new hat.

She obviously had fun at this for last minute photo session this past weekend. =)
Looking Back at 2011 | Greenville SC Photographer
Each year we try to recap the year with a SOME of our favorite pictures. This year we are a tad bit late and cannot believe it is already February! Below are SOME favs from 2011…I mean just a mere fraction of 2011 images! It was so fun to look back at these and I so wanted to post a lot more! We have some extremely wonderful clients! Thanks for an awesome 2011!!! I enjoyed having some time with each of you!!!! We are so very blessed.

Meet the Drago Family | Greenville SC Family Photographer
Let me now introduce you to the Drago Family! We LOVE this family and I seriously do not know where to begin! They are just one of those families that you instantly connect with and you always leave refreshed and encouraged. Both my husband and I enjoy hanging out with the Drago’s! Even our kids think they are cool. =) Actually they just said the other day that it is so easy to talk to the Drago’s because there is no odd silence in between conversations. =) You cannot hang out with them for more than 1 minute without laughing your head off. But, most importantly the Drago’s LOVE Jesus. You will often find them helping people in need. They serve our church in so many ways and so many people have benefited from this.
Erin has been an amazing second shooter for Naisang Photography weddings several times and she actually took our family pictures back in the fall. You can see them here and her other incredible work too… Erin Drago Photography. I have to admit as their family session got closer I became a little nervous. Taking another photographer’s picture can be a little intimidating, but this family just made it simply AWESOME!
This photo session was unlike any session I have yet to do and it was a BLAST! We cranked up the music to I am Adopted and Under Where from the album Slugs & Bugs & Under Where, this family danced, jumped, did the airplane, cartwheels, drank Jones drinks and laughed our heads off. FUN definitely is only one adjective to describe our time together. As you can see Matt and Erin’s girls are so, so, so cute and fun to be around. I just love them. Thank you Erin for entrusting this idea to me and for allowing me to capture your fun, crazy little family. The Naisangs love all of you!!!

Baby Cara and Big Sister Abby | Greenville SC Newborn Photographer
This is our very first photo session of 2012!!! What a perfect way to start too…..a sweet 8 week old baby girl and her big sister and beautiful mommy! It was so nice meeting this sweet family! About a week before the session I asked the mom to tell me a little bit about her girls and this is what she wrote.
“Abby turned four last September. She loves to socialize, but is initially cautious. Once she warms up, there is no stopping her! Very independant personality, and loves to draw and paint, loves books, and loves Dora the Explorer. Cara turned seven weeks old today. She is such a sweet baby who is sleeping through the night and loves to be held. She has beautiful long eyelashes that I hope you can capture in at least one image.”
Oh, and thankfully we did capture those beautiful lashes!! I so enjoyed this session. These girls were truly a pleasure to be around. Cara did an amazing job in her first photo session and slept right through most of it! =) Thanks for allowing me to capture this sweet time in your lives. =)
***Magpie did it again!!! Loving these sweet hats and headbands. Check out her items here. Magpie Boutique! =)

Baby Zane | The Lacock Family | Greer SC Family Photographer
We LOVE this family!!! A little over a year ago we took pictures of them and now they have been blessed with a new baby! Meet baby Zane! Such a cutie. The day of their photo session a cold front came through and it was a blustery kind of day and a little on the chilly side. I was not sure how things would work out, but this family did not disappoint. The kids enjoyed running and playing, and the wind made for some beautiful pictures as well. While I took some basket shots of Zane outside, Dad ran and explored with the kids. I was able to capture a few of this too. We decided to do some inside shots of Zane as well. So thankful we did. I so enjoyed holding him. =)
Last night our care group ladies just celebrated the faithfulness of our Father in bringing Zane into this world. I was freshly encouraged as a mommy! Becca loves Jesus. It shows through the way she loves her husband, children, friends, and church. I am so very thankful for her and her family. Enjoy a little taste of the personalities of each of their children. =)

The Mill’s Family | Simpsonville Family Photographer
This session definitely is ONE of my favorite family sessions up to date!!! This family is very natural in front of the camera. They LOVE to run and play and laugh together. Dad played football in college and the family now enjoys playing together. I could write much more, but the Mom of this family did an awesome job of telling me a little about their family… so here we go. =)
“We are a very playful family and some of my best memories are just the four of us dancing around the house, playing basketball, reading together, and crawling around the floor laughing. Ern and I have the most fun watching our kids as they learn new things, question their surroundings, and interact with each other. We enjoy Saturdays – cookouts with friends and Clemson football. I am so very thankful for our time together on Sunday mornings. I have to work at 12 so our time is limited, but I always look forward to dropping the kids off in their classrooms at church and going to service with Ern. We have grown so much this year (and are still growing everyday) in our relationship with Christ and the time we get to spend together learning about Him is precious to me. I am so proud of Ern, the father and husband that he is and my love for him deepens everyday watching him lead our family through this journey with Christ.
Our precious son Kellan is 2. He is a daddy’s boy but takes after mommy. He is loving and cuddly, shy, laid back and always smiling. He loves to read books and look at pictures of animals (although he is not too fond of animals around him), play with balls anything outdoors, and is always right there with his sister in whatever she may be doing. You can find him pretending to clean – dusting, vacuuming, cutting grass (has his own sound effects and all J). He says the sweetest things like “Momma I love you” and I ask him how much and his respon se is “too much.”
Our sweet Emma is four going on 24. Now she is a mommy’s girl but absolutely takes after dad – outgoing, inquisitive, artsy, and loves to talk (you never know what she will say next)! She is our little performer - whether it is singing on her karaoke machine, dancing on the fireplace, or telling stories. She loves to be around people – kids and adults. It is amazing to watch her learn and grow in pre-school. Everyday we look forward to the excitement in her face when she tells us all of the things she learned in school and sings the songs and recites her bible verse for the week. She is an amazing helper and big sister – her eyes light up at the opportunity to help Kellan or help mom and dad do things around the house. Not long ago, Kellan got a little frustrated because he could not get to a ball he had dropped and in the sweetest voice she said “Keep trying Kellan, don’t give up, you can do it.”
I really want to capture our playfulness and the love we have for each other. “
Abbi and I LOVED out time with the Mill’s family. Enjoy the memories. =)

The Tyson Family | Greenville SC Family Photographer
About 2 years ago we had a family photo session with the Tysons! Since then they have been blessed with boy #2!!! =) When the mom of this sweet family contacted me to set up a family session she made the comment that she would love to find an old tractor for part of the session….her boys would love it. When I saw one at Nivens Apple Orchard I knew this would be a perfect place for this family…added bonus it was only 10 minutes from my home. =) We played on the John Deere tractor, checked out the mining gem, took a look at the cow, chickens and goats, made our way around to the pumpkin patch, country store, and off to pick apples in the apple orchard. The sunset was so beautiful we ended our session eating popcorn and throwing confetti in the field. The perfect night for sure!!!! As with all my clients I asked them to share a little bit about themselves so I can get to know them better and so can you! I love what she wrote about her being “Sam and her little boy being “Bob”, the farmer!!!! =)
“Wells and I are, of course, loving our little gifts in Connor and Noah. They are entering into a very fun season of being able to interact more and enjoy each other very much. Connor is 3 and loves anything involving trains, construction machines, tractors/farming. He lives for time with Daddy—racing on their bikes, throwing frisbee in the dark, camping out in the backyard. With Mama, he loves to spend time at the pool, help in the kitchen, take fun library trips, and all sorts of crafty things around the house. I’m “Sam” and he’s “Bob”, the farmer, most days
Connor craves action, is somewhat sensitive, and has an amazing compassionate, loving heart. Noah is 15 months and is definitely showing us some spunkiness lately. He’s been our little meek, mild-mannered little (big) squeezable baby…and now he’s walking…and much more tempted, I guess I’ll say
) He thinks most things are funny—he likes to play pat-a-cake and wheels on the bus. He’s very proud to say his animal sounds and throw a ball to you. His three favs overall—dirt, rocks, and sticks. Oh, a fourth–toilet bowls! Sometimes I call him my little cat. They’re both very into outside–all things having to do with outside. They like to get dirty and dig in the dirt. As for Mom and Dad, we are humbled at the job that God has given us. We are prayerfully walking through the seasons that it brings and loving what He shows us in it. I’ve watched Wells really strengthen as a husband and father over the past several years. He’s such a passionate, loving, graceful, peaceful man. We treasure our time together as a FAMILY and are usually a little stingy with it. We’re so thankful to capture this time in our lives!!!”
Hope you enjoy looking back a the memories of your afternoon at the apple farm!!! =)
***If you are in the Greenville SC area be sure to check out Niven’s Apple Farm!!!

Boy: noun, a noise with dirt on it. | The Schaaf Family | Georgia Family Photographer
This sweet family brought their John Deere hats and tractors and came all the way from Georgia for this photo session!!! They are actually related to another Schaaf family we photographed earlier this year. =)
When I think back to this family session one word comes to my mind…..FUN!!!! The mom emailed me and said she wanted pictures of her 3 boys having fun….being themselves. She grew up on a farm and definitely wanted a natural location for their family pictures. They wrestled, tickled each other, ate cookies, danced, and ran around! I loved hanging out with them. We went over to a barn and found a really neat place to do a few family shots. The dad wanted to get up on the bales of hay for a few pictures with his gorgeous wife!!! I love this!! I asked the mom to describe her family so I could get to know them better and here is what she wrote!!!!
“First and foremost, we love Jesus and strive to glorify Him in all that we do. Our family loves being outdoors…camping, hiking, boating, concerts, sporting events. We always have music playing, particularly praise and worship and country. It isn’t uncommon for the boys to have pots and pans out playing the drums and singing in their loudest outside voice. We have 3 boys: Carter 4yo, Bo 2yo, and Parker 7mo. I have a saying on our wall in the playroom that says “boy: noun, a noise with dirt on it.” This describes them to a T. They love to be outside playing in the dirt with their shovels and tractors while hoping to find lots of bugs. The older boys love to wrestle, play hide and seek, build with legos, and read books while cuddling on the couch. Carter is our social child, very curious and fun-loving. Bo is rough and tough on the outside; yet has a sweet and gentle spirit and loves to serve others. Parker, a.k.a. smiley, loves to cuddle and be tickled. He adores his two big brothers and tries his hardest to keep up with them.”
Abbi and I really loved being with your family! Enjoy a few of the pictures!!! =)

Field of Happiness | Greenville SC Maternity Photographer
We love the Horsts and are super excited about baby boy Horst! We did a lot of laughing throughout this session. It is so fun when has clients come with their own fun ideas…they brought their own watermelon!!!;) I believe this session definitely shows their personalities. We felt several drops of rain during this session and towards the end the small drops of rain turned into a downpour! So thankful it all worked out!!! I love how Barry grabbed the quilt to cover them! Made for some cute pics!!! As you will see below Barry thinks their baby will be born on the 3rd of October and Erin thinks it will be the 1st! Cannot wait to see if either will win! Erin you are a super cute prego mama!!!!! Thanks for allowing me the pleasure of capturing this special time for you guys!!! Cannot wait to meet your baby boy!!!! Enjoy some of your photos!!
A special thanks to my Abbi for capturing the picture below of the flowers(3rd from the bottom) in focus! =)

Esther’s Big Day | Greenville SC Children’s Photographer
Lately there has been A LOT of posts about our children! We have had 4 birthdays to celebrate in the past 4 weeks! We decided to do birthday posts for each of them this year! Taking pictures of our kids is the very reason why we started doing photography!!!! It is neat that now 3 of my kids are a part of this business! =)Abbi comes to most family photo sessions to help me with props and the children. She is currently learning how to manually shoot with the new camera she received for her birthday, so she helped with this photo session.
Now back to this post! This post is about our Esther girl! This past week she turned the big 5!!! Esther wanted to bring her baby box to her session! It is a box with just a few memories in it of when she was a newborn! Below we took a picture of her holding her baby foot prints! =) Esther is a fun loving little girl that loves all things girly, but can also get dirty and play with the boys!!! She loves to twirl!!! She officially started K-5 today!!! She was very excited about it! Hopefully this will continue!!!
We love you Esther!!!

Rays of Sunshine | Simpsonville SC Newborn Photographer

Beautiful baby! Her middle name means rays of sun! This sweet newborn was nameless up unto about an hour before they left the hospital. Here is what her mom wrote via her blog about this.
“We decided on a name – about an hour before we left the hospital…
Kaylee Aveolela
I think it suits her perfectly!
Kaylee comes from a combination of family names on my side (Kay is a middle name for several female relatives and Lee is my dad’s middle name). Plus, we have always liked names starting with a “K”.
Aveolela is Samoan and it means rays of sun. It’s pronounced “ah-veh-oh-leh-la”. I LOVE the meaning for several reasons. One, she was born in the summer. Two, this birthing experience was definitely a bright spot in my emotional struggles that lingered from my first birthing experience. And lastly, I hope and pray she can be rays of sunshine for the Lord!”
There is nothing like holding a 6 day old baby!!! I loved every second of this photo session and I LOVE this family! About 22 months ago we were doing a photo session for their 1st baby girl, Rilynn, 10 months ago we did Rilynn’s 1 year pictures, and now here is her baby sister, Kaylee! Kaylee was a whopping 10 lb. 3 oz. lil’ girl too! Her mom had her naturally after a vbac!!! Wow!
What blessings….2 beautiful girls and a super easy photo session! Congratulations on your newest addition! Enjoy!!!
***All the beautiful crochet items are from Magpie Boutique!!! Love these!!!

The Bryant Family | Greenville SC Family Photographer
I really enjoyed the Bryant family!!! The mom had contacted back in the winter in hopes of doing a photo session this spring/summer. So happy we finally made it work (even after having to reschedule due to very unpredictable weather here in the south)!!! As we planned their family session the mom informed me that her girls love to to have tea parties and they enjoy just running around and playing!!! She did want to try and get in a family picture if possible. =) Here is a very sweet note she sent me so I could get to know them a bit better! I love everything she wrote and am so excited she contacted me to capture their beautiful family!
“Wes and I have been married for a little over seven years. Wes truly embodies everything I hoped and prayed for in a future spouse. He is loving, funny, outgoing, and a true man of integrity. He is an excellent provider for our family and a godly leader in our home. Wes has quite a few hobbies, although many of these have taken a backseat since we have had children =). He enjoys hunting, golfing, cycling, and water skiing. I believe we complement each other as a couple. We are both very driven and task-oriented. I tend to be more emotional and sensitive, while Wes is more practical and logical. I love my role as a wife and mother! I consider it a privilege and one of the most challenging, yet rewarding jobs in the world. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, cooking, and exercising.
Our oldest daughter, Campbell, is three years old. Campbell keeps us constantly laughing. She is full of life and she is excited by even the most mundane tasks. She enjoys helping me fold laundry and cooking in the kitchen. She loves her family and loves to be outside doing anything. She can be very strong-willed at times, but she is very passionate and determined.
Our younger daughter, Reese (or “Reese cup” as we call her), is 13 months old. She is one of the happiest babies I have ever been around. She smiles all the time and she shows genuine excitement when she sees someone she knows. She has started walking and she is into everything! Her favorite past time is playing in the toilet and pulling as much toilet paper off the roll as she can get to before being discovered! Reese has a sweet, gentle spirit about her and she is very cuddly and affectionate.”
Enjoy some of the pictures of this sweet family! =)

The Padilla Family | Simpsonville SC Family Photographer
Neat, neat, neat family! Right when the kids hopped out of their van I knew this would be a fun session! When the mom of this family contacted me she said she wanted me to capture her family being themselves as she had seen others do via our blog. So we played games, went swinging on the tire swing, drank vintage soda pop(which I highly recommend for a hot summer session), climbed trees(#1 request of the daughter was to have her picture taken in a tree=) and caught grasshoppers! We were able to get a few family shots in as well.=) The love this family has for one another is pretty obvious! First of all the dad (as well as the others) endured a couple of hours of 90 degree temps to have their family pictures taken, and secondly he swept his wife up in his arms and they kissed with no direction from me. =) All these pictures were done on a beautiful 800 acre farm! Oh, it was a perfect place! Definitely a dream place for a family and a photographer! After this session I kept telling my husband that I would never have to go any where to do a photo session if we had this farm!!! =)
Padilla family I had a blast taking your family pictures! Enjoy…many more to share later!

Sister’s Summertime Tea
One from a session this past week! Sisters enjoying a little tea party! =) It was a nice breezy afternoon and as we were finishing up this little tea party clouds rolled in along with a summertime thunderstorm.

The “S” Family | Greenville SC Family Photographer
I was pretty excited when Jenny contacted me to photograph her family. She has a beautiful family! They were just blessed with a baby boy about 4 weeks ago! Awww…and what a cutie! The love this family has for each other is pretty obvious!
Jenny wanted me to try and capture their family several different ways. Very thankful and excited that just about everything we had planned for this photo session was fulfilled! So lots of pictures to share!!! Abbi came along with me to help. She played peek-a-boo and held the baby while I took pictures of mom and dad! I loved having Abbi with me. We both had a great time and really enjoyed getting to know this family! As with all of my clients I asked them to share a little bit about themselves. Here is what I learned about this sweet family via the mom, Jenny.
” I like photography, scrap-booking, being a mommy / my babies
, baking, canning, walking. I LOVE strawberries! Strawberries were the thing I craved the most during my pregnancy with Link…and I haven’t lost that yet.
As a family we enjoy reading books, hiking, doing things outdoors (walking at a lake, picking blueberries/strawberries/apples), play games.
Emma likes doing anything outside (riding her bike, playing in the woods, picking flowers, bubbles, drawing with chalk), what we call activities (which is basically fun projects that she can color, paint, glue, cut that are school related), she also loves Disney princesses. Her favorite lovey has been since she was very little and still is her NeNe (silky blanket). oh and Emma is so enthralled with her baby brother.
Josh is a very talented artist (mostly pencils, pen, marker drawings), he also enjoys playing video games, guitar, and he love love loves hiking, backpacking, camping.
Josh and I both really enjoy coffee.
“
It was a fun photo session. While mom took care of the baby, Emma played and I had fun taking extra shots of her!!!! What a fun girl, what a fun family!

Ana and Family | Family Photographer
I LOVE it when a child is timid at first and with in 10 minutes they are smiling naturally, laughing, twirling, striking a pose, and even climbing trees! =) Ana was such a sweet girl and full of joy. Her family adopted her from Guatemala when she was 1. She is turning 5 soon! =) It is very evident how much they love one another. My kids and I so enjoyed getting to know this family.

The Huffman Family|Chris Huffman, Casting Crowns|Georgia Family Photographer
My last photo shoot of the year and what way to end the year! My awesome friend Kristen B. recommended me to her niece and husband and I had the opportunity to photograph Chris Huffman, the bass player for Casting Crowns, and most importantly the husband and father to one beautiful family!!! I enjoyed meeting them and what a fun family they are. Definitely naturals in front of the camera. It was a beautiful afternoon. We shot right up until sunset!

Daddy encouraged her to stick her tongue out! =)

What amazing eyes!!!! Such a cutie!

Daddy kept tickling her chin with his beard and she loved it! =)

Monkey Deez made this awesome tee above. If you are needing some cool Christmas gifts check out our new website. You can design your own shirt online or we can help. Just send us an email.

I do not know much about bass guitars, but I must say that this is a pretty sweet bass made by Warrior. “Pick up your ax” is a phrase a bass player uses. Well, Warrior took this phrase to another level saying “pick up your sword”. In other words use this guitar for God’s glory! If you look real close you can see a sword in the middle of the neck of the guitar and a sword runs through the name Warrior as well.

We decided to let Chris’ first wife join him in this picture. The guitar being his 2nd wife! =) This is a joke in his family and it really is a joke….the love these 2 have is pretty evident!

Sweetness! =)

So peaceful! =)
