Desiree’ | Class of 2012 | Greenville SC Senior Photographer

Meet Desiree’!  She is graduating in about a week!  Desiree’ called me back in November to schedule a senior session for April.  She saved up her money in order to do this!  I was so impressed and just had  to give her a quick little blog post! =)  Congratulations Desiree’!  I enjoyed getting to know you and look forward to seeing what God has for you in the future! =)

Lindsay | Spartanburg Senior Photography

What an amazing season of seniors we had this fall!!!  Lindsay ‘s session was no exception!  I enjoyed hanging out with her.  She is super easy going and a lot of fun to be around.  While editing her pictures I was reminded of how seasons change!  I am sure Lindsay’s parents would agree that this season comes all too quickly.  I so can relate because I now have a senior too!!!  Such a fun, exciting time in their lives.  I hope you have a wonderful senior year Lindsay!!!

Tori’s Senior Pictures | Class of 2012 | Greer SC Senior Photographer

Tori is a senior this year!  She loves the color orange, fall, and horses!  This was the perfect session for her! =) We had a lot of fun!  Tori is very photogenic and new exactly what she wanted for her pictures.  Another easy senior!   My Abbi also loves horses and was pretty excited about this senior session! =)  I still cannot get over what a gorgeous fall it has been in Greenville SC!!!  The leaves are still in full color and hanging on!!!!

Kristi | Class of 2012 | Anderson SC Senior Photographer

Kristi just moved to the Greenville SC area and is loving downtown Greenville and Falls Park.   Once you have lived in Greenville for a length of time you forget how unique this area is, especially in comparison to other downtown areas =)  This session freshly reminded me of how awesome Falls Park is!!! The colors this fall  are absolutely gorgeous!   Fall is my favorite time of year and it is Kristi’s too!  So thankful the leaves hung around long enough for her session!!!  Her is a little bit about Kristi!

“My favorite color is yellow and I’m a big time artist. I plan on going to college for some sort of studio degree and it’s a big passion. I love being outside and just enjoying time by myself sometimes. My family’s very important to me :) including my two sheltie dogs! I’m an independent and “free-spirit” person (my mom’s words) ;) I think for the most part I just look to enjoy life and not worry too much about the technical stuff! I LOVE watermelon, I think I could eat my weight in it, and as far as sports go, I’m recreationally challenged. I also am a huge music fanatic, and look for anything that’s especially not mainstream, they’re the best! I’m very, very excited to meet you, and I’m so glad for your help!!!”

I enjoyed meeting you and your mom and your 2 shelties! =)  I had so much fun laughing with you too!!! =)

These are her 2 shelties!  So cute!!!!

Miss Rachel | Moore SC Senior Photographer

I love senior girls.  They pretty much know what they want when it comes to pictures and this makes my job easy!  Here is a little that Rachel told me about herself.

“I love watching sunsets. Fall is my favorite season, so I would really love my pictures to be outside.  I love smiling and I laugh all the time.  I’m a pretty natural person, I don’t like wearing a lot of make up.  I like simple beauty which I think comes across in my style, although I do like getting dressed up and being really girly.”

Rachel’s photo session was perfect!  We had so much fun!  She had just come back from a youth retreat and it was exciting to hear her talk about her love for her Savior, church, family, and friends.  It was quite easy to make her laugh and smile.  I loved the fact that she still likes to twirl.  I so see my Esther being the same way as she gets older. =)  I hope your senior year is fabulous!

Katie | Class of 2012 | Greenville SC Senior Photographer

When Katie said she would be wearing cowboy boots,  loved bright colors especially yellow because it is a happy color, and was looking for more unique artistic styling photos I knew this was going to be fun!!!  She loves  downtown Greenville and wanted some pictures along Main Street!!! Such a neat area!  Katie enjoys working out, tennis, baking/cooking, farmers markets, and reading!  She is making some big decisions about college next year!!!  Katie, enjoy your senior year!!!  Thanks so much for asking me to capture your senior pictures for you!!!

Katie loves basset hounds and when we saw these two pass by us I just had to get a quick picture of Katie with them. =)

Laura | Class of 2012 | Greenville SC Senior Photographer

Laura will be graduating in 2012.  She enjoys being outside, hunting, fishing, hiking, kayaking, and also likes taking vintage clothes and remaking them into new things. She was a very fun girl to photograph. I loved capturing her laughing!!!    Due to lighting our 3rd location idea changed a little bit and we ended up at this really cool natural, industrial area!  I say natural because it had wild flowers growing out of cracks in the foundation!  The sunset was absolutely gorgeous!  It never ceases to amaze me how each sunset lets off different hues. The lighting was quite amazing! Our God is a creative creator!!! ;)

Laura, I hope you have a wonderful senior year!!!!

Melonie | Greenville SC Senior Photographer

Capturing seniors is one of my favorite things to do!  It is such a fun time in their lives.  I am so thankful Melonie contacted me to do her senior pictures.  We had so much fun getting to know each other.  At one point during the session I put my camera down and we just hung out and talked.  She loves the Lord, enjoys playing the viola(and yes, she actually played it during the session;) ), loves the deeper colors of red, orange, and royal blue.  She also likes southern, homecooked meals.  Yep, my kinda girl! =)  I hope you have a great senior year Melonie!!!

Karen’s Senior Pictures | Greenville SC Senior Photographer

This photo session was so much fun!  Karen is an artsy kind of girl!  Not only is she artsy and has gorgeous blond hair, she is also very funny and loves the color pink…all shades of it! =) She wanted to do some unique downtown pictures as well as a few garden like ones. It was 98 degrees the entire session, but we pushed through and really had a great time.

Karen will be entering college in about a month or so!  She has a wonderful family and I am thankful we attend the same church so I can continue to see her each week!  Karen, I hope your start of college is awesome.  Thanks for allowing me to capture this neat time in your life!

Kenzie’s Senior Pictures | Greenville SC Senior Photographer

Kenzie’s senior session was pretty amazing!!!  As I have said several times….I LOVE senior sessions!!!    Their energy, willingness to try anything, and excitement for their upcoming season of life lends itself to a fun-filled, happy photo shoot!

In order to get to know Kenzie before the photo shoot, I asked her a few questions. This was her reply.

”My absolute favorite thing to do is be with my friends!  But I also love volleyball.  I played for my last 3 years of high school.  My favorite color is Tar Heel blue and I LOVE the University of North Carolina Tar Heels!  I’m a really sporty girl.  I love watching and playing lots of sports.  I’m most comfortable when I’m wearing a t-shirt and running shorts! Fave food is ice cream (butter pecan!)  I think I could live at the lake, I love being on the lake.”

The sun was absolutely perfect the night of Kenzie’s photo shoot!!!!  At every location the lighting was amazing!  It did not take Kenzie too long to become comfortable in front of the camera and we had A LOT OF FUN!  I enjoyed meeting you Kenzie and I hope you have a great graduation and a wonderful first year of college!

Anna’s Senior Pictures~ Oh, Happy Day!!! | Greenville SC Senior Photographer

You cannot hang out with Anna and not have FUN!!!  I love this girl! Her laugh really is contagious! When we were talking about what type of Senior pictures she was envisioning she wanted a little bit of everything! =)  We narrowed it down to urban, vintage, and of course my all time favorite clean open shots bursting with gorgeous sunlight!!!  I do not want to ever tire of the beauty our Father God created in the light of the sun!!!!  Due to the urban shots my oldest son, Joshua came along as our “bodyguard”! =)  We loved having him there!  We all had a blast together!

As this post was being written we thought  who better to describe Anna than her own mother!!!  We love this family and are very thankful they asked us to capture their first graduate of 7 children!!!!

“Newborn pictures-senior portraits. A blink of an eye! 18 years of memories, relationships, growth, and love. Our “Anna Moe” is a joy to our family and a special friend to me. Anna has a contagious ability to laugh- especially at herself. She is fun loving and enjoys life. Anna keeps our family well entertained with her mishaps, bad jokes, and ongoing commentary about her perceived physical flaws. The jury is still out on her ability to locate familiar landmarks in Greenville or even her own car.She recently tried to get into someone elses van- even though the van was full of another  person’s children! The frightened children began waving frantically, and Anna ran away screaming. Her GPS is her best driving friend- only second to her sister English who will help Anna merge into traffic, park, and yell “You can’t get over!” Her driving skills may leave something to be desired, but she has enjoyed developing her more artistic talents through photography. Anna loves taking pictures and her sister and brothers are always eager to accompany her on a “photo shoot” ,especially when it involves lollipops and treats as bribery. She has a standing date with each of her brothers at Leopard Forest Coffee Company, where she tries to probe their hearts, but usually ends up in conversations about football, baseball, and facial hair! Anna LOVES sports, competition, and playing basketball for 4 years for the Upstate Patriots. She has developed her basketball skills but most importantly, her team members have become like sisters and their friendships have reached far beyond the court. Friendships are very important to Anna, and she acively pursues fellowship with other believers and loves hanging out with her friends. She is easy to talk with and reaches out to others.

God has been very gracious to our family and we look forward to seeing how He chooses to mold Anna more and more into His likeness. Our local church has been invaluable in discipling us as parents and challenging Anna as a child of God. Rob and I are so thankful for Goldy women who have continually modeled His grace to our daughter.”  Robin M.

Anna enjoys photography!  She has a great eye and talent in this field!  Love this old camera she brought to the photo shoot! ( ~~~check out her cute necklace/headband from Magpie Boutique…love these)

If you have an old saying or a new saying that you would love to have on a t-shirt you can go to Banana Village  and contact us with your custom order!

Senior C | Greenville, SC Photographer

We have known C’s family for over 3 years now.  We LOVE them!  They are one of those cool, fun families that you just love to be around. =)  C is actually in college now, but his mom really wanted to get some late senior pictures done.  He came along with his sister for her senior shoot and we were able to capture a few of him as well.

I love this picture of the 2 of them!

Senior M | Greenville, SC Senior Photographer

I know I have said this before, but high school seniors are so much fun!   When M said she would be interested in doing her photo shoot in a field at sunset and incorporating a rustic house and train, I was a bit excited.  I have always been drawn to rustic trains, fields, and sunsets.  Whenever we are driving past certain fields I instantly can see something that just makes me go, Wow!  My God has created this for us to enjoy!   He never ceases to amaze me!  M, I hope your senior year is wonderful.  I had so much fun doing this photo shoot for your senior pictures.

Her older brother made this bench!  I love it!

This quilt was M’s great, great grandmother’s baby quilt.  It was made in the early 1900′s.  It really is one of the neatest baby quilts I have ever seen.

Here is M’s brother.  We will be posting some of his pictures soon! =)

Cards!

We now offer cards and much more to our clients. Each month we will try and feature a new item that we or someone we know is offering.   This month we are featuring baby announcement cards and senior cards that our son Boaz has designed.  These cards come one-sided or two-sided.  On the back you have the options of one more picture or a collage of pictures.  We can customize these cards to your specifications.  Color, style, font and text is up to you.  We have several designs for you to choose from.  In the next couple of months we hope to share sample engagement announcements and wedding albums.

Senior – Ryan

The seniors continue.  I have known this senior since he was in the 5th grade.   It was pretty neat to take his senior pictures.   His mom is a dear friend of mine.  I just love her!  Her love for God shows through her love for her family and others. Her relationship with her kids is pretty cool too and encourages me so much!  Now back to Ryan.  Ryan was a fun guy to photograph.  He did not mind going to different locations and changing clothes.   He made me and his mom laugh quite a bit too. I look forward to taking pictures of her other son soon.   We had a lot of fun!  Thanks Ryan for letting me take 800 pictures of you ;) haha! Here are some of our favorites!

Jessa – Senior

Jessa’s family used to be our neighbors and we miss them so much.  I cannot believe she is starting her senior year in just a couple of weeks.  When her mom asked me to do her senior pictures I was very honored and super excited. Jessa is a fun, caring young lady.  We had a blast running from one location to the next.  She is an amazing runner so we made sure to include some shots of her cool running shoes.  =)  Thanks Jessa for allowing me to take these pictures for you.  Hope you have a super senior year.

***Seniors are quickly becoming another new favorite of mine.  Hope to share several other senior photo shoots over the next month or so.

Yes!  This is a real “doggie in the window”~!
