Emily is graduating this year!!!  Yay!!!!  Such an exciting time!!!  She is from the Asheville NC area where our family lived for nearly 12 years.  The latter part of these 12 years I started photographing families (back in the film days) and the 1st family I photographed was Emily’s family!  The above image is of Emily and her twin brother!  Aren’t they the cutest!?!!!  Emily’s mom encouraged me so much in the area of photography.  I so remember her saying, “Kel,  you have an eye for this and you need to keep taking pictures!” 🙂  As I watched Emily’s mom during the session I sensed the excitement yet sadness that many moms (me included) experience when their babies are growing up!  I know she is super proud of the young woman her baby girl is becoming!

For me personally it has been a complete joy watching Emily grow into a beautiful young lady, who loves the Lord!  God has blessed her with so much musical talent and most importantly he has blessed her with a desire to love Him and bring glory to Him in all she does!  When I asked her what her plans were for after high school she quickly told me that she was looking at Liberty University’s music program, but really just wants to have a family and a degree that will fit well into this.  I LOVE this!  A girl after my own hear! 🙂

Happy Senior Year, Emily!!!  I am praying for you and look forward to seeing you continue in the faith and LOVE Jesus!!!
